Coccidiosis??????

Hey, I have a red sex link pullet whos not doing well... she's lethargic and doesn't walk. She's also missing some feathers. I looked at her underbelly and noticed some blackish purplish stuff under the skin! Eek! Is this Coccidiosis?!

How old is she? Is she new to your property? If older, and not new, then it's not likely to be coccidiosis. Could she be broody or molting?

No... she's about 20ish weeks. And we got her in May
I didn't think when hens molt they get sick...

Not coccidia then for sure. Could she have eaten something rotten or possibly poisonous?

shes dead now she had a seizure and died i did a necropsy but didnt find anything... thanks for your help!
