Hey all, I'm a first-time poster. I've been treating my 12- to 14-week-old chicks for coccidiosis with Corid (2 tsp per gallon of water) every day for seven days. I'm still seeing suspicious poop. Should I try treating them orally? Can I add the medication to their food or treats? I'm going to try to add pictures. Sorry, it's gross. I don't have access to a vet nearby. Any advice is appreciated.

The poop look normal to me. It can take a couple weeks for the intestines to heal after treating for coccidiosis. Probiotics can help.

Welcome To BYC

That looks like intestinal shedding to me. How are your chicks behaving?

What do you feed?

If you have given Corid for 7 days and feel that you need to treat for Coccidiosis again, then switch to Endocox (Toltrazuril).
