I had some young chicks in a chicken tractor in our yard about a week ag found one dead one sitting at its feet and one beside it the other 4 where up in a nesting box .long story short the one sitting at its feet didn’t make it the day and I grabbed all and started treating immediately. All have recovered except the other chick that was most closely exposed she’s not getting better but she’s also not been getting worse she remains lethargic eats very little drinks very little and I have given her the medication orally at full strength every 2 days as it advised that an additional treatment might be needed in that way I am at a loss she’s got a heck of a constitution to still be alive but I’m not sure how to bring her completely back please help

Hi, sorry about what happened to your chicks. You probably caught it in time for those that made it. I'm going to assume they got exposed to your grass/weeds that has coccidiosis in high amounts they weren't able to tolerate. Some areas are higher than others. Can you bring them in or put down boards or something so they aren't exposed to so much at a time?

How long has this chick gotten the follow-up dosage? When done, I'd give a few drops of Nutra Drench straight, then put that in their water so they get vitamins replenished. For her, try giving some raw egg yolk.

I had them all in doing the mix in the water but I pulled her yesterday she got a drench dose of 1 ml Cori’s yesterday and today refused to open her eyes unless I aggravate her. Tried to syringe in the egg yolk as slowly as possible she waits a minute before swallowing mostly still sleeps her comb was almost white 3 days ago and it has color I’m just baffled .
