Well I’m trying to figure out what color and sex are these two Cochins. I know they’re calicos but one is lacking the white. The darkest brown one I hope is a pullet but my hopes are being diminished. 😅 Do you guys think they might be future pullets or little cockerels? I know the one with more white is definite yes but the other one I’m on the fence about it being a girl or boy. Also can calicos not contain white? His mama is a solid chocolate and the others mama is a black mottled. Both are by Calico roosters.

They look like a Columbian and a gold laced. You might have to wait and see since they are mixed color varieties to know for sure.

How old? You can generally tell the boys by 4-5 weeks as they get pink combs fairly early. I see no sign of pink yet. The first one is feathering slower so that is possibly a sign of a male as well. My guess is they are around 3 weeks?

They are 3weeks. Would mixing their colors create the Colombian color or golden laced? I highly doubt the first one will look like a Colombian as it has brown in it and they don’t have lacing like a golden laced.😕

Hard to say. I was mostly guessing. You will need to wait and see how they develop. Hopefully someone else has a better idea.

Any updates on these little guys? My guess would’ve been white-pullet and brown-cockerel based off the way they carry themselves in the picture!
