I was hoping for someone to have input on why this Cochins wings stick up in the air.

Can you take a picture of the chick on the ground? It could be that she's a frizzle, which is quite common in cochins.

Wings do not look frizzle, so my guess is they got roughed up a bit, or are just coming in weird. If more feathers come in like that than it may be a frizzle.

Maybe just some weird wings then. Unsure. Amy ideas what the color of this Cochin will be? When I first hit him, he looked like a penguin.

I’m new to having chicks , just seemed weird to me. Quite sure it’s a roo. Not sure of the color it will be. Any ideas?

The color doesn’t really matter as long as it’s healthy I will be happy. He’s adorable. Thank you for the help!!! I’m still learning lots about baby chicks.
