Cochin Bantams over Cochin Frizzle

Trying to determine if I bred my Molted Bantam Cochins (Black and White) to my Black Frizzle Cochin Roo (contains a bit of white), what color chicks they will produce? Will 50% of their offspring be frizzled? What about the color? Will their offspring be black and white only?

Half frizzled, half normal, all would carry mottled, but none would show it unless the male is a carrier

f the male carries mottling, he'll have one gene towards it. Mama has 2, so half the chicks would have 2 and show it and half would have 1 and not show it.

If he has no mottled genes at all, then all chicks will have 1 gene but not show it

Got it, so the key here is for the male to have a mottling gene in order for it to show in the chicks.
