Cochin blue legs?

I understand that blue Cochins are supposed to have yellow legs... But mine have blue legs.. What caused this and can it be improved upon.

I just hatched a couple with the same trait. The parents came from two reputable breeders so I'm very curious about this as well. Let me know if you find out!

Blue black and splash Orpingtons have blue legs and white bottoms of feet...

Beautiful birds, and they are certainly Cochins with those single combs and heavily feathered legs. The legs themselves may not be yellow, but the bottoms of the feet are definitely yellow. )

Can you show them if the legs are not yellow?

Bottom of feet look white, I don't see any yellow on the bird. If the APA calls for yellow then no you can't show them. If my Orps had yellow I couldn't show them... Maybe the yellow will appear as they age? I have no experience with yellow legged birds.
