I am expecting some silver laced large fowl Cochins, and I currently have a blue large fowl rooster. What outcome would I get through breeding? Would I get blue laced? Or just BBS, with a chance of silver laced?
I do not understand gene codes, I hope someone can explain it without them. I am selling off birds I don't want to keep for breeding, and so I will sell the roo if it wouldn't be a good breeding setup.
On the same note, does anyone suggest any website or book where I could learn about genetics, even if I am completely unknowledgeable??
