Hi.
I'm going to hopefully purchase some Show Quality Cochins, and I've heard and read that need some extra care.
I'm wondering what other peoples experience are with them.
And what other kind if extra care they need.

The temperature varies from as cold as -60F and as a high as 100F

I will ask use them as show birds

I have some show quality bantam cochins. I don't show them. I don't alter their care in anyway. That's a huge temperature difference. When it gets too hot you will need to run a fan and provide lots of cold fresh water. When it gets below -20 we keep ours locked inside. So you will need plenty of room inside for the winter and plenty of ventilation for the summer.
