I have blues, blacks, splashes, and a partridge. All are 2 month old except 2, they 8 months old.

I am thinking of getting.. are they bad about jumping fences? Would want them to go freely in my fenced yard.

I don't think cochins are flighty birds, they look like ground dwellers.

Plus if you teach them that your property is there home you wouldn't have to worry about them leaving. Unless a hawk gets them.
