Cochin Cushions - Full at What Age?

At what age can you expect Bantam Cochin cushions to be fully developed? The hens I currently have were already a year old - I have no experience with youngsters. I'm looking at a pair to buy that is 3 months old - what should I be looking for at this point in time? I found an old thread regarding this, but the pics were all gone. Thanx in advance for your help!

What do you mean by cushions,do you means the combs? These are 5wks.in photo and the boys are well developed.I've only seen Cochins with a single comb unless you mean something else.

some birds mature slower than others it also depends on the quality of the birds here is a pullet that is 16 wks old she came from jamie matts

I have hatched a number of nice Cochins this year. I have found the boys feathering develops more slowly but I knew at three months this boy would be awesome. I also had several other hatch out with this guy and while they were very nice he stood out as soon the as he started feathering in with the adult feathers.

This is a picture of him around 8-10 weeks old. It is hard to see body type here.

Usually by 4-6 months you know what you are working with... at a year, they should definitely be fully filled out.
