Cochin disappeared

My little Cochin has disappeared. Could she be sitting in her eggs somewhere? I can’t find her anywhere? I’m hoping she’s okay. There’s no evidence of anything taking her and everybody else us fine. She’s my favorite little chirpie.

Entirely possible. You won't know for sure unless she turns up with babies in tow.

I hate that when that happens. I remember my favorite hen did the same thing.

She did show up the next morning but this time I was on her from a distance. She led me to a nest in the bushes that had 10 eggs in it. I thought she was gonna brood them but nope. After 20 minutes on the nest she got up and left. So I took all the eggs and destroyed her nest so she can't use it.

I hope it's the same for your cochin, safe and sound.

I find my chickens in the trees sometimes. Try looking up.
