what colour earlobes does your cochin have? my campine hasn't got white earlobes so i'm kinda certain she is going to lay brown eggs when shes sposed to lay white.

Whatever color the earlobes on your chickens are I doubt that little RIR is laying yet! Which leaves your cochin assuming there are no other chickens housed with them.

I have bantam cochins as well and they lay light colored eggs, sometimes speckled, but it's my silkie that lays the white eggs.
