cochin genetics question

what would i get from breeding a white male bantam cochin to a black bantam cochin?
would it be show quality?

you would get black and as to show quality proubly not if you have hatchery chickens.

From a white x black mating you would get %50 blue, %25 black and %25 splash chicks.
As far as show quality, that would depend entirely on where the sire and dam came from. If they came from a private breeder that shows their birds, then there's a chance the chicks could be show quality or breeder quality. Hatchery parents, chances are you would get leggy, vulture hocked cochins that lack volume and depth.
