Cochin hen

My cochin hen is about a year old. She started laying and stopped, started back laying and now has not laid in 4 weeks! I feed Purina layer and scratch. Any ideas on what I need to do?

If you can, check her family line and see what sort of laying predisposition they have. Some bantams can lay pretty prolifically, well, mixed breed ones anyway, but purebred Cochins, Silkies etc may only lay as few as a dozen eggs a year (bottom end of the scale) up to 30 eggs a year or so on average... But the 'average' varies quite widely... They're not layer breeds, if you want more eggs you need to get a layer or dual purpose bird or birds as well.
