Are Cochins good moms? the reason i ask is because i think i have a cochin hen and i was thinking about geting a frizzle cochin roo and breeding them but i was just kinda courios(sp?) about the cochin moms before i went and did anything. i heard they were broody, but im not sure. And if they're not, do you think a Buff Orpington would take care of the chicks? I have about 3 Orpington hens. Also, how many eggs do Cochins lay? If anyone has an answer or anything, please do share.
