I got them at the farm store in town. They were just labeled bantams and had a few different kinds in with them.First one looks like it's a cochin. Second one I'm not so sure about. What color did you order them as (mottled, buff, partridge, laced, white, barred, etc.)? When I got my first chicks, I remember that my bantam cochin was more fluffy and the Mille Fleur D'Uccle had a telltale spikiness to the feathers on the top of it's head. Another possibility is that you were accidentally sent a D'Uccle-Cochin cross, which they now sell on MyPetChicken. Hard to tell at this point. Where did you get the chicks from?
Gotcha. In my opinion, the first one is most likely a porcelain or mottled ochin. Second one is showing definite signs of being a D'Uccle. Best wishes. Keep us updated!I got them at the farm store in town. They were just labeled bantams and had a few different kinds in with them.
I got mine in a mixed bantam box as well.. I think these three are all the same breed. Ages 1.5 weeks(brown), 2 weeks (white), 3 weeks (black)I got them at the farm store in town. They were just labeled bantams and had a few different kinds in with them.
