We got some bantams and RIR's and the lady threw in a few others for free. Two of them we are told are Cochins, looking at pics I believe they are. Most of our chickens free range, with the exception of a few bantam hens and our RIR hens, which are for laying.
So in the pics are the two that I am calling Cochins, I think they are both Roo's. From what I have read this breed are pretty laid back and one of them is the other fights with everyone. Can anyone confirm breed and sex for me?
This is Cotton. He (?) is openly mean to everyone especially the other Cochin. There are a few hens and roosters that will put him in his place, but he always comes back for more.
B.B. such a sweet bird. At first we thought he/she was a hen, as the comb on this one did not come in as fast as the other Cochin Cotton. B.B. here runs and hides often because Cotton the other Cochin is so mean, but when we do get graced with B.B.'s presence we are followed all over and he/she lets us give pets and treats.
