Cochin roosts?

How high will cochins roost? do they have any issues to take into consideration?
My 6 week old cochin pullet is about 2x as heavy as my EE already, the EE loves to fly around but the cochin can't seem to get more than a couple of inches off the ground. will this be a problem later?

My cochins always liked the low roosts and if they were too high they would just sleep on the floor. The LF cochins do get pretty heavy so I wouldn't put the roost up too high so they don't damage their feet when jumping down.

about how high would you say is good for a LF cochin?

sorry to butt in but my roost is 26 inch high but my nest boxes are on the floor do you think they could step on nest box 15 inch high then get on roost
