It's the only chick out of 20 that sounds like this but it's also the only Cochin bantam we have. Can it be Normal? My son said it’s been this way from the time we got it (hatchery chick). 3wks ago with other chicks. I know for sure at least two of the last three weeks. Any idea what could it be and how to treat? Quiet other than the occasional chirp. Sounds like this mainly just when riled up. Eating, drinking fine. No blood in poo. No gaping mouth or gasping for air. No air bubbles on the body or puffiness and nothing visible in the throat area. Think it’s a pullet. Thanks.

How's your chick doing?
Thank you for asking. It seems to be doing better. Never any other symptoms. Still slightly sounds like a cuckoo. I gently massaged the crop and the belly, underwing of the little thing and it seems to have helped. I couldn’t see anything in the trachea/throat but I think mayyyyybe a little piece of pine logged But not sure.
