i have a standard splash Cochin rooster and standard white Cochin hen and i have one that's standard that's lemon blue her mom was game and standard lemon blue Cochin and then i breed the blue Cochin back into her so the blue one looks like a lemon blue Cochin but not as feathered legged but anyway i was wondering could you predict what colors would come out of each hen i have a pic of 1 chick that hatched from the white Cochin but it didn't make it but i don't know if you can see it in the picture but it looked like a splash Cochin but its wing feathers that was coming in was like a smoky buff but here are pics of the chick and parents ( THE BOTTOM PIC IS THE LEMON BLUE COCHIN HENS MOM THE COCHIN GAME CROSS BEFORE I BREED BACK TO THE COCHIN

HERE IS THE SPLASH AND WHITES BABY

there are people here that can tell you, there are to many crosses for my knowledge. the best thing I can tell you is breed and select for long leg feathers, color, and yellow (I think) legs. if your lemon blue is an old English I think that cross was made by breeding b.b. red to black, then brown red offspring to dark blue. it is a very hard color to get right in OE.

maybe this will work: partridge cochin to black, dull colored black offspring with yellow neck feathers to a dark blue cochin. someone else may be able to verify if im right on this.

edited to add, my guess is your going to end up with a lot that look like the rooster in the top pic
