Cochin x bantam cochin

I have a bantam cochin rooster and standard cochin hens all black. If I cross them will I just end up with mid size cochins? I read that the resulting chickens will also not breed true. What does that mean?

They will be mid size. Not breeding true means when you breed the F1s together, the F2s will be a range of sizes rather than being the same size as their parents.
