I am very excited to say that my cochins are starting to hatch out of my own eggs!!!! I had two due to hatch today and they are both out and running around! These were a project. I had a mottled bantam rooster with an EE. I am trying to get something that looks cochin but lays colored eggs! The chicks are so cute. They have the coloring of mottled cochin babies, but have the "eyeliner" around their eyes of an EE. Can't wait to see what they look like when they grow up! I will get some pics tomorrow to post!
