Cochin's egglaying

Im still somewhat new to chickens but i have some bantam cochins. Everything I have read about them say that they lack in egglaying ability. But the cochins i have lay great. I usually get a egg from a hen a day or at least every other day. Anyone hace any input on this or experience with cochins?

I don't have any but I was considering getting a couple- but if they are not known for egg-laying them maybe I will have to try a different breed.. Unless I can find some like yours!

I have really enjoyed mine so far. They are really calm and sweet.

Mine lay every day or every other day as well. Mine are great little birds! I love them!
