Let me say something... grammar is very important. When you are applying for a job, it helps to have a proper grasp of English -- punctuation, grammar, and capitalization. It helps to get your ideas and messages across properly, with minimum chances for misinterpretation.
When you are in college, you need it when writing essays and homework -- just like anything else in school.
