What do you DO with this murder stuff if you don't put it in the tank?

I did briefly consider whether fish could be used as a weapon, but decided against it.

I can't imagine slapping someone with a goldfish would be very effective. We could try it though. We might be surprised.

Yes... some times... but usually no. You test for various toxic things to make sure the nitrogen cycle is all good, and to know when to do water changes. You put the aquarium water into the test tubes and then add the chemicals.
