Very upset with you. Look at this face. The face of disappointment.Put me down for the Orp team, though, as I have never owned a cochin and if they have baggy pants I never will.![]()

Oops, hit the ❤ option first. That is a very pretty bird. A very, very floofy fowl. I can actually hear her going Tsk, tsk! at me! And she may even be tapping her foot, as well. But who can tell, under all that floof?Very upset with you. Look at this face. The face of disappointment.

Lol, thanks but i better not. Maybe later, eh?Good! Come join us on team EE!!!
I breed my chickens so that’s one reason I’m not an EE fan, I also prefer to know what the offspring will look like and I hate how some have colors that aren’t even named or recognized. They are also too common. But I love all chickens (besides orps).I'm just getting into this at the beginning, obviously. Would LOVE to have true Ameraucanas. But like most folks just getting into chickens, somebody "saw me coming" when I first started out and "sold me a bill of goods," which for you youngsters means they took my money and ripped me off by giving me something other than what I expected. The joke was on them, though, because I'da been really mad if the Easter Eggers I fed to the raccoons in those early years had truly been $20 Ameraucanas instead of $3 EEs. I wiped my tears, built better and bought more EEs, an older and wiser chicken keeper. And to this day I still love my cheerful, hard-working, faithful little Easter Eggers.
Cochins are better that orps. Nobody can tell me or my team otherwise.Oops, hit the ❤ option first. That is a very pretty bird. A very, very floofy fowl. I can actually hear her going Tsk, tsk! at me! And she may even be tapping her foot, as well. But who can tell, under all that floof?![]()
I have mixed feelings about this commentPonder this-- without Cochins, there would be no Orpingtons.
Exactly. I don't know why they had to ruin the beautiful cochin to make the disgusting orp, but these Orp lovers should acknowledge that they wouldn't have those disgusting creatures with out the wonder that is cochins.Ponder this-- without Cochins, there would be no Orpingtons.
