So glad you could join our community! Cochins are a lovely breed!! That is a lot of roos for 3 hens. 1 roo is too much for 3 hens. The proper ratio is 1 roo to 10 hens. This protect the hens from being harmed or even killed.

Oh thank you! She's my little sweetheart and wants to just be carried around all the time or snuggle in my lap. Her name is Chow Mein or Chow Maniac when she goes broody! lol
My red one is named Tikka. She is sweet, but definitely in charge despite being the size of a small grapefruit!
I've fallen in love with these loving hens and can't wait to add more!

Can't wait to see pics of your flock! Have you posted in the Where am I, Where are you forum yet? I'm from the Seattle area.
