Cock-a-doodle-doo or don’t?

Then why post any of this? I’m afraid someone will implement one of your suggestions. Except for the last one, many of us eat them.
I’m learning everything new and old. Never know when I’ll need random knowledge or practices. Time always are changing… so this would be a very last thing for keeping roosters quiet in a SHTF situation…

just for fun :) I hope you never have to do surgery on roosters.

Anyone try the rooster sleep box?
From my understanding
“Crow Damper Boxed” work to keep them from crowing at night and you must let the dude out during the day then back again.
The crow is still made and still can be heard depending on the quality build of the box.
In a farm or larger plot neighborhood would be useful.
Closely built homes, if HOA allows, the crow would still be an issue.

Same an the collar, crowing is still made…

Explain what this is??? Never heard of it.
I heard that Capons do not crow, if done at correct time.
Roos still crow even when the caponing is done right before seminal production starts… it is affective when selecting bloodline, lowering the frequency of over mating.
Do you have any Capons Chooks about and what’s the rate of Cockadoodledoing?
My Quail Roo songs once in the morning and also when he can’t see his lady…
