Cockatiel Eggs Fertile?????

I have two cockatiel mates. They have eggs with white shells and there seems to be something in them. Pictures are not available and i cant break them open (i have young kids and dont want them to cry) they are about 13 days old. How can i tell if they are fertile? Thanks

Candle them just like chicken eggs. At 13 days you should see something as they normally hatch between 18-21 days.
