They free range a good part of the day in nice weather..

I have 7 chickens.. run is enclosed in winter they are out all day as long as it's above 15

She look a lot like a dark Brahma hen, and there was no scale to compare size.

I have a brood of half Cochins right now and every single one of them has feathered feet.

ETA: By which I mean Cochin x Welsummer, Cochin x Leghorn, and Cochin x Wyandotte.
