Hi yall!
frow.gif
I have a little delima I thought I had 2 barred rock pullet's however one is developing its comb a little faster than the other, faster than the rest of the flock too and it is the youngest. I estimate it to be about 6 weeks old.

Is there any other signs? I read males are lighter than females and it is mostly white while the other barred rock is mostly black.

Pullet or cockeral??

The other barred rock is in the back ground, much darker than the one on the perch is.

I am so sorry. We hatched our own witha broody hen and the one I fell in love with, Flora everybody on here seems to agree is a Roo.....Buhuuu.
I am still calling it a Flora but we will see, it might just be a Florence ( are there any other male names starting with Flo..?)

I don't know. Don't give she/he away yet. I have 3 barred rock who developed their comb at differing rates then each other and a lot quicker than the buffs, EE's, and RIR's.

Pics of mine at 5.5 wks and 7 wks.
