Crowing varies as well. A few weeks back one of my EE's made a funny squacking noise like SHE was trying to crow at age 6 wks or so. Made me look at her a little closer because I thought all of my 10 were pullets. She's the only one with the pea comb where all the others have the single comb.
If your girl ends up being a roo, I'll trade you for one of my barred rock pullets.
I was hoping at least one of my pullets was a roo for flock protection as I'm on 4 acres with many wooded acres surrounding me.
I wouldn't really go by the size of the feet and legs either. My three barred rock grew HUGE feet before any others in addition to being much heavier. My 3 buffs are much smaller and lighter.
