Cockerals

Hi

We are living in suburbs of Birmingham England, we have 3 cats 1 dog and three hens and would love a cockeral, can anyone advise us if there are any laws Re: noise/cockerals and are they realy as noisy as people say?, I don't want to upset the neighbours:

If you like crowing, have a cockerel. Once mine started (I have 12) they haven't stopped. I think we are having a "cockerel reduction weekend" for the coop, and a "cockerel addition weekend" for the freezer.
