That comb is pretty red and well defined. Saddle feathers wont show until closer to 12 weeks. Im going to be the odd ball and say cockerel for now.


I want it to be a pullet but I am really thinking this is gonna be a rooster.

If I can get a picture of it standing tomorrow I will. It stands exactly like a rooster does. Its head is up and its chest is out.

I just didnt know it was possible for a pullet to do this too.

It's been my experience that stance can't always be a deciding factor. I have a white rock that stood like that all the time. I asked here on byc and everyone said she was either a cockerel or a Cornish cross. Well, she isn't. I also have a quirky cuckoo Marans that stands like that.
I just didnt know it was possible for a pullet to do this too.
 
I have a female with bright red comb and long waddles, so that's not always a for sure way to tell. Below is the rooster that I had. You can see that his saddle feathers are feathery / whispy. Females will be rounder, softer looking.

These are my hens with bright red comb's and large waddles. Look at how different the saddle feathers are compared to the rooster above.
