That might be a little dramatic.
This morning I was walking out with some chips in a bag. My 7-month-old Delaware cockerel ran out to see what I had, in route to the coop (where I planned to dump the chips) he chased/went after/attacked me! I've had a real mean cockerel who would not stop no matter what (he tasted real good). This one backed off when I failed the bag at him. He came back once then retreated again. After all that I tried to catch him but was not successful.
Any ideas? I've kept distance from him to let him just be a rooster. Should I start interacting with him more or just... I don't know. What?
The picture is from a few weeks ago when I decided to catch him based on people saying I should get him more used to me. I haven't tried to catch him since other than today.
