Cockerel Confusion

Every rooster is different. Some can handle being handled, some cannot. My experiences with bantam roosters and frequent handling is limited, I raised 5 in a similar manner in the past. Picking them up and petting them. One became severely aggressive and was culled. One attempted to dominate me by flogging and I was able to turn him around. 3 were fine. So the odds are good, but you may still have problems. Time will tell.

I don't make pets out of my cockerels, but you already have, so we'll see. Some grow up fine, and some don't and it becomes easier to see what the bird is thinking with experience. This will be a learning experience for you, however it turns out!
At five weeks of age, they should be out in the coop learning to be chickens!
Move them out there, separated for the older birds, but in view, and gradually let them interact, over a few week's time.
The older pullets will 'encourage' polite behavior, a good thing.
It would be nice to have one of them stay, if he works out for you.

Roosters start crowing at daybreak and crow all day long.
I had one rooster that crowed at any nighttime disturbance, like headlights shining on the coop when i came home from work.
The rooster i have now , crows and cackles like crazy, makes alarm nioses, runs around like he is demented everytime a hen starts singing her egg song. Thats several times a day.
Everytime he does that i think a bobcat or coyote MUST be in the yard...but no its just Ringo doing his rooster duty.
I have had more luck raising human respectful roosters since i went to the hands off method.
Hand raised roosters seem to loose that healthy fear and respect of you.
