Cockerel or hen Pekin Bantam Chicken?

I hope someone can help!

I bought two 5 month old pekin bantam hens today from a garden centre. I even asked the person selling them if they are both definitely hens & was told yes.
However at bedtime I was stunned to see the grey bantam fully mount the gold bantam. I have never seen a cockerel mount a hen before but that it what it looked like to me!
Is there any way I can tell if this pekin bantam is a cockerel or a hen? I’m afraid I don’t want a cockerel so I’m hoping I can return him if I know for sure he’s a cockerel! Any advice would be great!

Oh blimey! Thankyou so much. I’m so sad I’ve been mis-sold a he instead of she as already s/he is so sweet but I’ll have to see if I can return him .

PS Is it very obvious he’s a cockerel then (sorry for my ignorance)? Could you tell me how to tell he’s a boy (I don’t want to get caught out again)!

He’s starting to get in shiny, pointed feathers on his neck, saddle, and shoulders.
