Hi friends, I have got some 13 month old chickens. Do you agree that this Brahma is a cock? I suspect this because of the redness or face, shape of feathers, and size

Brahmas are often slow to develop, so the red face probably does mean it is a cockerel. But from that picture I can't see any other signs of it being male, so I would hold onto it for a while until it becomes obvious one way or the other.

Did you mean 13 week by chance? Don't look 13 month to me. They both look like pullets to me.

Looks like a pullet to me. I'd hold on to it.

If it's 13 weeks, I'd hold out a bit to be sure. If thirteen months is right - then that year-old chicken is a lady.
