It would be great if you could take some clearer photos:) Holding the birds makes taking pics easier, those little buggers can be fast!

Hi, ok. I will try that tomorrow. They are very quick & I don't want to chase them around & stress them out. I want them to like me. :D

Unfortunately it's hard to see much in your photos. Silkies can be hard to sex.

Sorry. We really tried to get clearer photos but it's really hard when they are constantly on the move and not being able to keep up with technology unfortunately doesn't help much. Old phone and old digital camera but it's all we have.

I completely understand. I have sat for hours trying to get a decent shot of a particular bird with no luck. They just never seem to stop moving.

Ok. What about these photos? Pullet or cockerel? 4 months old. We found out a few days ago that the Blue Silkie is a roo so that's solved. Now we have 2 find out about the Black one. We heard that if you have 2 roosters one will crow and the other will not also that they will peck at you when you reach for them to protect their flock now the Black one will peck but doesn't crow because the other one does. The Blue roo doesn't show any interest in mating with the other and they jump at each other like they are playing which makes us think they are both roos
