I had a thread on this awhile back when “she” was younger but it’s harder for my to find now. Cheshires comb is starting to redden and “she” is getting picked on more by my older cockerel while Alice’s is still not reddening and she is not picked on. They’re both buff Brahmas, still rather young and were both marked as pullets but Cheshire is looking more and more like a cockerel

Pretty sure Cheshire is a cockerel. He still has some chick fuzz, and pullets at that stage shouldn't have much comb development or color.
I thought so… no issue with that I’ve been needing a second rooster. I’ll just have to let the seller know the place she got them from sexed them incorrectly. Thank you!

Ah here’s a better photo, Alice’s comb is definitely much smaller and lighter. At least he will be a sweet rooster!

Looks like you’re right! Darker orange feathers, longer saddle feathers and that comb. I’ll take him back to where I got him soon to have her check to be certain. And so that she knows where she got him from sexed them wrong (100% keeping him he is SO sweet and my new light Brahma adult rooster absolutely loves him and Alice)
