Cockerel? Purebred Brahma or a cross?

Sold to me as a Brahma. I was hoping for a pullet but starting to look like a cockerel now, right?

Also, since he's a copper Brahma, not a standard Buff, Light, or Dark, does that mean he's not purebred? (I don't mind either way, but would like to know if possible.)

PS — He was born last Aug.

Cockerel. I think Brahmas are supposed to have pea combs, can't tell if it is. Never heard of a Copper Brahma.

The hackels make me think rooster. I've never heard of a copper Brahma so I don't know about breed.

Maybe they meant Buff Brahma. He looks off for one though. My guess is that he is not pure.

Yeah, def not a buff. I already have a buff Brahma rooster (hence, I won't be able to keep this copper one, unfortunately ) and this one is very different, decidedly red! Very curious!

But Copper Brahmas are not a thing (from what I know).
