Cockerels or not?

Hi everyone i was just wondering if you could help determine the sex of these chickens as we recently brought them and we are thinking there is possibly one of them is a cockerel but we were told they were hens. They are 8 weeks old.

looks to me like you have 3 cockerels and 1 pullet but I am new to this so that is just my opinion.

I also see 3 cockerels (1, 3 and 4) and 1 pullet (2).

Thanks guys. I noticed that the third chicken did fight a little cockerel we had with them but we took him back as the breeder wanted him. We also have a larger cockerel which seems to be fine with them all. We were told by the breeder that they were all hens, very annoying.

I know but we hope that they dont turn out to be cockerels!!

You need to go back to that "breeder" right now and have them make it right. Three of those birds are undeniably male, no questions at all. Anyone worthy of being called a breeder would have been able to tell for probably the last two weeks those birds are male. I'm so tired of seeing folks get taken advantage of here lately!

^^^^^very true. Luckily I have not ran into this problem. All of my breeders have been right. I would probably ask for replacement pulletts. You should get what you paid for.
