Cockerels or Pullets?

This morning, half my flock was crowing. Originally I thought there weren’t any more cockerels because I thought the pecking order wouldn’t allow the smallest cockerel to crow, but now I have two more chickens crowing. Could I get opinions on them? They’re around 3 months old. I love them so much and will be sad to have to find them new homes. Sorry there’s so many of them and thank you for your input in advance!!

2. Eagle, a potential cockerel, crowed the tiniest bit this morning

3. Maddie, who I think is at the top of the pecking order but doesn’t crow

4. Leah, started crowing yesterday

5. Edith, a super curious/outgoing chicken

6. Brixton, my definite cockerel that’s the same age

7. Winnefred, another definite cockerel

the only hen is behind Betty Lou. Take a look at that hens wattles and color of comb and wattles. That’s about as big and bright a comb and wattles could be and still be a hen at 12 weeks.

I’m so sorry you got so many cockerels.

Looks like quite a few males there. Congrats you have a bachelor flock!! That poor pullet is sorely outnumbered though

Darn, I knew they were suspicious. I got them at a local poultry shop when they were little chicks and now don’t know what to do.

They’re certainly pretty. Are you in an area close enough to a larger area that has Craigslist? Are you on Facebook?

Last time I raised a flock, I had one rooster and ended up giving him to a farm in Brewster, NY. I’m sure there’s people around here that would take them. Do you think I should post on Facebook? Maybe it’d be nice for them all to go to the same farm.

For FB there are a lot of local chicken Groups. Many groups won’t let you sell in the group but some will. You just have to check.
