Cockerels or Pullets?

Hi everyone,

My first batch of chicks hatched for this year! they are barnyard mixes from our Light Brahma rooster and Silver Laced Wyandotte rooster. The hens are an Easter egger, Brahmas, Orpington, and a Black Star. Y’all have been right on my last batch so I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one!

I think that these two (Vaiana and Hei hei) who are Easter egger Wyandotte mixes are female?

Houdini, a Brahma Wyandotte mix is a male?

Zippy, a pure Brahma, is male?

And Dot, a Brahma Black star is female?

And Fritto, an Orpington Brahma is male?

What do you think?

I’ll have to sell the roosters so your help is very much appreciated!

Dot, Hei Hei and Houdini are pullets.

Fritto and Zippy are cockerels.

Vaiana is questionable but I lean to it being a cockerel.

They are 8 weeks old now Thank you for your insight! I was so sure that Houdini was a male

Comb is small and pale, with no wattle development, so I think you are safe with Houdini being a pullet. I think the name Houdini is fine for a female, too.
