Hello BYC Friends! :frow
Long time no see. I've increased my flock of 9 to 18 as of September. (Eight 2y/o hens, nine 7 m/o pullets and one 7m/o Roo.)
Past couple of days I have found watery, milky poo, and today one poo had very thick milk around it. It is hard to tell which chicken is leaving the poo.
My 2 y/o ornery but apparently healthy Wyandotte has a vent that looks pretty bad. Pics of all below.
My 3 runs are one washed river sand, two dirt. I use PDZ and soft Aspen bedding in the coops and Aspen nesting pads.
The feed is Tucker Milling NatureCrest non-gmo 16.5% mini-pellets. And I give a few handfuls of mealworms each morning. Some kitchen veggie scraps also.
Any insight and advice that you have is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Give her a good wash up, then coat the skin under the vent with some NuStock cream.

If possible, take a sample of the poop for a fecal float to see if your flock needs deworming. The white is urates, is everyone drinking well?

Hey Wy! They are drinking a lot of water and eating the feed well. Our weather has been crazy, lots and lots of rain, freezing temperatures for 2 weeks end of February, it was 78° today it'll be 22° Tuesday night. Lacey, my Wyandotte, has rock hard stuff around her vent like she's eating calcium powder paste. Which she's not, but I do leave flaked calcium out for their grazing when they want it. It's supposed to be warm tomorrow so I will wash her up maybe trim some of the fluffy feathers away. Thanks for your help!

I cleaned her up and in the process learned who has the watery, milky poo. I got a good look at the rash, I cleaned it well, sprayed it with Banixx and let it dry, and then put Hen Healer on it because that's all I have right now. Alarmingly, she has very little feathers on her butt and underside. I don't know that she's molting but it doesn't look like there are any quills coming back. Just bare skin. She didn't smell yeasty. Her whole naked area is full and squishy, like a water balloon.
I started my flock on Corrid, and will run through the 5 days.
Any other thoughts on her?

The redness is irritation from urates and poop sticking to the skin.
Apply some NuStock cream to the skin below the vent to help soothe it and keep urates from sticking so much.

Being wet and feathers/fluff trimmed they can look a bit bare.

It would be a good idea to look for lice and mites, you should have seen Lice when you cleaned her up if she had any. Mites can be a bit harder to see and often it's best to check at night while roosting. Most Mites live in the coop and come out to feed at night.

Corid is a Coccidiostat and will treat Coccidiosis. While most adult birds have built resistance to the strains of Coccidia that's found in their environment, it won't hurt to treat them.
Liquid Corid (Amprolium) dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.
