Hello everyone, i have this rooster who doesn't crow ever. He is the same age as the rest of my flock and the only rooster out of my 4. But he never crows. Am i mistaken? Is he a she?

It most definitely is not trying to mount. Its bullied by them. I agree it has no streamers and its body language is more boat like then upright. I was told cockrel but i guess time will tell. Thank youBy that age I think it would be fighting with the females and attempting to mount them if it was male. It looks healthy, so I see no reason why it wouldn't do those things if it was a boy. Also, it doesn't have many male characteristics-- just a large comb and large wattles, but they are reasonably sized for a pullet. So that is what I am guessing you have, a girl.
Ive had the same theory myself! He is tiny too. Or she? LolWhen I have had multiple roosters there's usually one dominant one who crows a lot and the submissive ones are quieter. Maybe if he's being bullied by the hens he's just too submissive to crow? I can't comment on whether it looks male or female because I don't know silkies.
