Make eggs, not war
I agree. Looks female to me but Silkies are adorable little weirdos. I would check her/his butt bones and see if s/he has laid an egg.Hatched her from an egg in March. 2020

So if i feel a 3 finger space between tge butt bones it should be female? Is that the method?I agree. Looks female to me but Silkies are adorable little weirdos. I would check her/his butt bones and see if s/he has laid an egg.
Anything more than 1 finger spacing. Silkies are little so they may not follow the rule exactly but it is usually 2 fingers width means the bird has laid an egg. If s/he hasn't laid yet this will not give you a definite answer. So if i feel a 3 finger space between tge butt bones it should be female? Is that the method?
I checked her this morning and to touch each bone on other side took 3 fingers with about 1.5 to 2 fingers inbetween the bones. Crows steal my eggs everyday so i have no idea if a little silkie egg has been laid but it seems it has. Thanks for your helpAnything more than 1 finger spacing.
