First we considered eating him, then neutering, giving him away, and we finally are just going to keep him and build a bachelor pad this weekend.

However, I noticed yesterday that our 6 week old BAs comb is seeming to sort of flop to one side. It's the same side, so it's not like wobbling around when he moves. Just seems to be growing this way. Is that normal? He seems to be healthy, it's eating/ drinking normal, getting around ok, and the feathers he has left to come in are growing out just fine. Also still on chick starter, and get hard boiled eggs, broccoli, bread(occasionally), and bananas for treats.

Excuse all the pictures, I just wanted to make sure I got enough "good ones" because Norris is always on the move and I know the pictures are helpful.

I think that’s just because it’s a little big to stand up straight right now, but I’m not positive:)

But he’s really pretty!
Thank you! Part of the reason we're decided to just keep him. He's starting to get those beautiful BA greenish-blue feathers in and I love watching him tend to the girls with the sun shining and making those colors pop!

All the reasons I want a roo:lol:

It's perfectly normal and he looks perfectly healthy. Some cockerels just grow them that way. It could be temporary or permanent. No way of knowing, yet.
