cockroaches in the chicken coop???

we just discovered tonight that we have cockroaches in our chicken coop. I'm pretty sure they are from the woods. What can I do about it?

That's what I thought they would do, but they seem to be ignoring the roaches.

At night or during v the day? I have a light on a timer, so that she coop fills with roaches, and my girls go crazy snacking when the light goes on.

I would suggest temporary moving chickens to another coop and call an exterminator. Or according to this page you could spread Advion or Syngenta granules both inside and outside, then you should wait for 10 days. Hope it helps.
